Bull Development

These bulls were born in the fall, and raised on their dams in the harsh environment a tough, Kansas winter can offer. We don’t creep feed. After weaning, the bulls have been developed to gain 2.5-3.0 lbs. per day. Our bulls are not pushed and not overfed. We don’t like to buy fat bulls, and we don’t sell them that way either. This will allow them to work in your herd for several years, putting money in your pocket by saving on bull replacement costs. Our goal is to breed cattle with hip and muscle that stand on good bone. We like bulls with butts, nuts and guts. Their daughters should become good brood cows who raise a healthy, profitable calf. Our offering comes from the top cut of our calf crop. We don’t offer volume numbers of bulls, but we do offer quality. We only offer bulls that we would use on our own commercial cowherd. If a bull calf doesn’t meet our standards, he becomes a steer. The bulls have to be good enough for our own cows, if they are going to be good enough for your cows. The bulls are sound and have excellent disposition. They will be semen tested and ready to work for you.
